My name is Stephanie Trussell. I am the Republican running for the Illinois State Rep District 42.
You may have heard about my opponent, Terra Costa-Howard. She thinks homeschoolers are the biggest problem Illinois faces and she arrogantly continues to ignore record-breaking, citizen opposition to her latest bill, which would trample our parent's rights.
Illinois is struggling with out-migration and is slated to lose yet another congressional seat after the next census. Hardworking people and businesses are fleeing due to the high taxes, cost of living, decline in the job market, and concerns about crime and a failing education system.
My campaign is about restoring Accountability, Balance and Common Sense to our state government.
Illinois has all the resources and infrastructure to once again be a leader in manufacturing, job creation, and overall quality of life. I am ready for the challenge of making Illinois home again.
